The workshops are fully equipped with all tools, diagnostic equipment and welding gear for all servicing and repair work on any make of engine, outboard or inboard. Our engineers are factory trained and fully certified to undertake all repair/service work and estimates can be provided on request.All work is undertaken to the terms and conditions of the BMF 12 th. UPHILL BOAT CENTRE. ENGINE SERVICE PRICE LIST Basic Service intended for light use only, engine under 3 years old and in good running order. This is intended to cover the normal requirements after one season's light use only. Check all engine bolts for tightness. Check all cylinders compression test. Check all cylinder ignition ratings Inspect plugs and leads, change if required. Check starter gear, man., or electric and lubricate. Check gearbox oil and seals, drain & refill. Static Test engine in tank or attached to water supply, adjust and test. 4 Stroke engines, to include carb. balancing etc. plus 25 % on 2 stroke rates, tappet adjustment if required, additional 10 %. H.P.rating Service, Tank or Static test. 1.5 - 4.9 £56.00 Plus £20 for fitting new impellor 5.0 - 12.0 £60.00 Plus £25 for fitting new impellor 12.1 - 25 £66.00 Plus £35 for fitting new impellor 25.1 - 45 £75.00 Plus £39 for fitting new impellor 46- 65 £83.00 Plus £47 for fitting new impellor 66 - 115 £112.00 Plus £54 for fitting new impellor 115 - 150 £149.00 Plus £58 for fitting new impellor On site propellor repairs from £42.50 plus Vat. 24 hr. if required All the above costs are, plus any repairs required, consumables, parts and VAT. Any additional work found necessary will be advised before proceeding. We have extensive secure storage yards so craft can be left with us from 08.00 on weekdays and collected when convenient, 7 days during the Summer season. If the engine has not been performing correctly, if advised, we can undertake testing under load in our Marine Lake for an additional cost of £39 plus vat.
